Community hubs
Access to legal support should never be a privilege. Yet with cuts to legal aid and pressure on social care, too many people are left without help – or even unaware of their rights.
Our Community-Led Hubs in Gloucestershire and Croydon bring people, organisations and grassroots initiatives together to raise awareness, provide advice and empower residents to access the care and support they’re entitled to.
Our multi-dimensional approach
Led by our communities team – including Jacky Martel, Senior Advice Co-Ordinator for the Southwest, and Jennine Bailey, Croydon Hub Co-Ordinator – our hubs combine many strands of work to create lasting change.

Training and resources so people understand their rights.
Pro-bono referrals

Free support for carers of adults
Our Peer Navigators are part of your local community and can support you online or in person at community venues and carers groups. This free service can help you understand your rights and entitlements, draft letters to your local authority, request a social care assessment and navigate a carers assessment yourself.

How we work with our partners
Our hubs are rooted in collaboration. By working with local organisations, grassroots groups and community leaders, we co-produce training and information that reflects the realities of people’s lives. Partners help us spot gaps, shape new resources and ensure our support is culturally relevant and accessible. Together, we amplify local voices and create stronger, fairer systems of social care.
