The State of the Nation 2025 Report
From promise to practice: how the Adult Social Care sector has fared under Labour's first year of government.
Wednesday 2 July / 10.30-11.30am
In July 2024, the UK elected a new Labour Government on a platform of change. Now, one year into this new administration, we are taking a closer look at how that change is unfolding. This report considers Labour’s first year in office through the lens of adult social care. Has the promised change begun to take shape? Are people seeing real improvements in accessing the care they need?
We will also be sharing our analysis of data from the advice sector and explore the key themes emerging. As a legal charity, we often see the system at its most stretched, when things go wrong. But we also see the potential for progress through our partnerships with public bodies, communities and social care providers.
Our hope is that this report serves not only as a reflection of where the sector stands today, but also as a springboard for the next stage of meaningful change.
There will also be time for a Q & A with our panellists.
The State of the Nation Report launches on the 4th July.
